Definitions of Requirement

  1. Desirable property of something to be tested
  2. Something that product must do or quality that the product must have (Roberts & Robertson 2006)
  3. Expression of the required phenomena that are shared between a machine and the domain or environment (Jackson 1995)

Note: a good requirement includes both machine and enviroment

Example of requirement:

The web-site system shall purchase a request event ticket quickly

Actor – the web-site system

Result – shall purchase

Object – a request event ticket

Qualifier – quickly
